Each semester, Senator Jones welcomes highly motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic individuals for internship positions in his Washington, DC and Alabama offices. Responsibilities include: answering the telephones, logging constituent opinions, leading tours of the U.S. Capitol, assisting members of senior staff with administrative tasks, and other duties and projects as needed. Qualified candidates should have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, should be team-oriented, highly organized, and resourceful. Candidates with Alabama ties are strongly encouraged to apply.
Senator Jones is currently accepting internship applications for Summer 2020 internships.
In the Alabama offices, the Summer 2020 session is from June to August.
The Washington, DC office will have two Summer sessions. Session 1 will be from June to Mid-July and Session 2 will be from Mid-July into August. The DC internship coordinator will work with you as your work and class schedule provide.
The application deadline for ALL Summer 2020 internships is March 1, 2020.
